Abstract Guidelines

Abstract Submission is now closed. Results will be declared shortly
  • Abstracts must be submitted through the dedicated portal
  • The site will stop accepting abstracts after 15th August 2025. Abstracts received via email will not be evaluated.
  • The presenting author must submit the abstract themselves
  • A presenting author may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts for consideration at MPIOACON 2025.
  • The decision on abstract evaluation will be communicated to the presenting author via email by 30TH August 2025.

Submission Category:

  • All abstracts must be submitted in English, using Times New Roman, font size 12, and double spacing.
  • To ensure a blinded review, do not include identifying features such as the names of hospitals, medical colleges, clinics, or locations in the title or text of the abstract.
  • Do not include the names of authors or their affiliations in the body of the abstract. There will be a separate section to enter author details and affiliations on the submission platform.
  • The material in the abstract must be original and not previously published.
  • The title should be as brief as possible but clear enough to indicate the nature of the study. Abbreviations should not be used in the title, and the title should not be written entirely in capital letters.
  • The abstract is limited to 300 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations, etc.)

Structure your abstract using the following subheadings:

  • Background
  • Aims & Objectives
  • Materials/Patients & Methods : Describe the selection of observations or experimental subjects in detail
  • Results : Present your results in a logical sequence.
  • Conclusions : Highlight new and important aspects of the study and the conclusions drawn from them.
  • Limitations
  • Conflict of Interest : A declaration of conflict of interest is mandatory.
* No references, graphs, figures, or tables should be included with the abstract submission.
* Check spelling and grammar carefully. The abstract text will not be edited and will be reproduced exactly as submitted in the e-abstract book.

Poster presentation guidelines

  • Registration is mandatory for participation in Poster session and abstract publication in the Abstract book.
  • Selected poster will be given a number. The organizing committee will inform the presenter of the date of poster presentation.
  • The poster will be a physical poster with size 33 x 45 Inches.
  • Poster structure: Title – Author Details – Background – Objective(s) – Brief Methodology – Results – Conclusions – Acknowledgements.
  • Please bring along your poster during the meeting and put it up at the designated date and time during the meeting.
  • The presenter must wear an official conference badge while presenting the poster.
  • Use of high resolution images is strongly recommended.
  • Posters will be displayed full day but the judges will review during the scheduled Poster Session. Please be present for interactions during these timings on the designated date of your poster presentation.
  • Awards for the best posters will be announced at the concluding session and the winners will get gifts and a certificate.

Paper presentation guidelines

  • Paper must be submitted through link only. No abstract will be accepted by email or hard copy in any circumstances.
  • Paper to be submitted under the categories given in the form.
  • Cases to be presented should have learning from the case.
  • The instructions for the preparation of the Case Presentations are as follows:
  1. Please do not exceed 10 slides for each submission.
    Slide 1 – Title, Presenter Name, Institution.
  2. Slide 2 – History/Relevant Investigations
  3. Slide 3 to 9 – Procedure Details (Insert appropriate mp4 loops and text with relevant equipment used).
  4. Slide 10 should contain take-home message/what we learn from the case.
  5. Moving files must be in mp4 format.
  6. All videos should be kept on automatic, loop until stopped & rewind after playing mode.
  7. All videos should be embedded in PowerPoint File.
  8. We recommend that you save your PowerPoint presentation using .pptx format.
  9. Presentation size should not exceed 15 MB..

Once you submit your case, you will get an acknowledgment to your email id.
